PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the generation of erroneous operation even when a polarization light enters by allowing a light that is to enter an infrared-ray transmitting filter to pass through a depolarization element. ;SOLUTION: A light which is to be made incident into an infrared-ray transmitting filter 5 is allowed to pass through a depolarization element 7 so as to eliminate the polarization state of a polarization light and convert it into an artificial natural light. Thus, since a polarized light hardly enters the filter 5, a light including undesired infrared-ray is blocked and only a desired infrared- ray is filtered, then it is detected by a pyroelectric element 1.
