PURPOSE: To display a dilatant effect only on the vibration having extremely low frequency and high frequency. ;CONSTITUTION: An insulator 5 is provided between a connective fitting 6 connected to the engine side and a holder 9 connected to the car body side member or the like. A main chamber 2 and sub-chamber 3 enclosing dilatant fluid are provided in the lower part of the insulator 5. An orifice 1 through which the fluid flows is provided between these main chamber 2 and sub-chamber 3. The orifice 1 is circularly provided on the peripheral edge of a partition plate 8 partitioning off the main camber 2 from the sub-chamber 3. In an inlet/outlet of the main chamber 2 and the sub-chamber 3 of the orifice 1 are provided a pool-like main chamber side opening part 11 and sub-chamber side opening part 19 having the cross sectional area of the opening larger than the general cross sectional area of the opening. An air chamber 7 into which air is introduced is provided in the lower part of the sub-chamber 3, and a diaphragm 4 partitioning the air chamber 7 off from the sub-chamber 3 is provided.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1997,JPO
