PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently determine a sale promotion method, schedule article purchasing,..., etc., by retrieving the customer attribute, information provision history, and purchase history of a specific customer and analyzing the obtained information provision history of the customer and the sale promotion effect of a specific article recorded in the purchase history. ;SOLUTION: A service use system as a client system which makes use of article information service providing information regarding articles, a service provision system 202 as a server which provides article information service, a purchase history input system 203 which inputs the purchase history of a customer, and a customer information analysis system 204 which analyzes information on the customer are connected by a communication network 205. Then the customer information analysis system 204 acquires the information provision history, purchase history, and customer attribute from the storage device 2022 of the service provision system 202, analyzes the customer information by using the acquired information provision history, purchase history, and customer attribute, and outputs the analysis result from an output device 2043.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1997,JPO
