SERUMLESS MEDIUM COMPOSITION FOR CULTIVATION OF ANIMAL CELL

PURPOSE: To obtain the subject composition readily separable and capable of purifying a produced effective substance and having excellent propagation accelerating activity of an animal cell by including a hydrolysate or its specific fraction of lactoferrins as an iron-binding protein. ;CONSTITUTION: A hydrolysate of lactoferrins or its fragment fraction having ≥8.4 isoelectric point is added to various serumless mediums. Preferably, the adding amount is 5μg-0.5mg to 1mL of a prepared culturing solution to obtain a serumless medium for cultivation of animal cells at a low cost and stable quality.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1996,JPO
