摘要

PURPOSE: To provide a health monitoring apparatus and health monitoring method by which the generation of abnormality of respective compressor units and turbine units in a multi-shaft turbine engine and its causes can be detected. ;CONSTITUTION: The multi-shaft turbine engine, which is composed of a low- pressure compressor unit 1 consisting of a low-pressure compressor 11 and low-pressure turbine 12, a high-pressure compressor unit 2 consisting of a high- pressure compressor 21 and high-pressure turbine 22 and an output turbine unit 3 having an output turbine 31 connecting with a propeller 32, is provided with vibration meters 17, 27 and 37 and rotational frequency meters 18, 28 and 38 corresponding to respective units, and the vibration spectrums and rotational frequencies are obtained from respective vibration meters and rotational frequency meters respectively in order to find out true vibrational spectrums for respective units 1, 2 and 3. The true vibrational spectrums are calculated for various outputs of the engine and the changes against the vibrational spectrum frequency and against the outputting are examined, thereby detecting any abnormalities of respective units 1, 2 and 3 and estimating their kinds and causes as well.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1995,JPO
