PURPOSE: To provide the subject system enabling sustainable crop production in a desert land by making use of rainwater. ;CONSTITUTION: This device body 1 has a flat bottom wall, a wedgedly projected vertical front wall 3, and a sidewall having both vertical sidewall portion 4a and slant sidewall portion 4b. A water-blocking cloth-serted box 6 is fixedly installed on the body 1. This box extends downward from the height level of the bottom on the body, contains water-blocking cloth rolls inside and has function to successively deliver the water-blocking cloths 5 backward. A chain digging mechanism 21 for digging the box 6-holdable trench is fixed in front of the box 6. A top soil-digging plate 15 is fixed onto the front wall. An asphalt jet nozzle is set up outward on the lower face side in the rear of the slant sidewall portion 4b. A base surface-leveling plate 20 is connected to the device body 1.
