PURPOSE:To make it possible to enhance flexibility, linearity and rigidity and protect temperature measurement from the effect of noise induced by supersonic waves and electromagnetic waves and enhance temperature measurement accuracy by twisting two or more thermocouple strands together with a core wire. CONSTITUTION:Together with a core wire 22 comprising a rigid wire, such as a phosphor bronze wire or a piano wire are twisted thermocouple wires 24 at a specified pitch so as to produce a twisted wire. Then, a heat contact (a) is formed on the paired tip of the strands 24 twisted, centering on the core wire 22 while heat contacts (b) and (c) are formed by the other strands.
