PURPOSE: To prevent the occurrence of the twist of a throttle valve stem owing to the inertia force of the-rotor of an electric motor for a throttle valve assembly for an electric motor-driven throttle valve and wear of a stopper and W prevent a throttle valve from cutting through the wall surface of an intake air cylinder. ;CONSTITUTION: A stopper comprising a regulating screw 12 and a regulating plate 14 is arranged on the electric motor side and hardening treatment is applied on the surface of the stopper. Thus, since the stopper is arranged in the vicinity of a twist force generating part, the twist of a throttle valve stem 3 is prevented from occurring and no wear is prevented from occurring even when the high inertial force of a rotor is stopped by a stopper. Therefore, displacement of the throttle valve stem 3 and the stopper is prevented from occurring, resulting in prevention of a throttle valve from cutting through the wall surface of an intake air cylinder by means of the inertia force of the rotor.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1994,JPO&Japio
