PURPOSE:To obtain sodium peroxocarbonate excellently stable at the time of blending with a bleaching agent composition, detergent composition or particu larly detergent composition containing zeolite. CONSTITUTION:A coating agent selected from a group (A) composed of a borate and an alkali silicate and a coating agent selected from a group (B) composed of a carbonate, a bicarbonate and a sulfate are used as a coating agent of sodium peroxocarbonate and at least one kind selected from (A) group and (B) group is made a water-based slurry coating agent and is applied on the surface of sodium peroxocarbonate to produce sodium carbonate. A powdery detergent composition containing the stable sodium peroxocarbonate produced by this production method and, as an essential component, a surfactant and a bleach cleaning agent composition containing the stable sodium peroxocarbonate produced by the production method are provided.
