PURPOSE: To stably produce a thin Fe-Cr-Al alloy strip having excellent oxidation resistance and usable as a honeycomb material for a converter without blocking a nozzle for purifying exhaust gas from an automobile by a rapid cooling method. ;CONSTITUTION: This rapidly cooled Fe-Cr-Al alloy foil having excellent oxidation resistance consists of 5-30wt.% Cr, 2-15wt.% Al, 1.5-3wt.% Si, 0.07-2.0wt.% REM (Y, Ce, La, Pr or Nd) and the balance essentially Fe and has ≤10μm grain size.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1993,JPO&Japio
