This solution of the damping mechanism of the back water impact, in particular for fast-running turbines with a long suction tube is based on the creation of an oil chamber (9) between the suspending bearing (1) firmly connected to the non-movable parts of the turbine and the bearing flange (4) and the rotating oil tank (6) is connected to it which is firmly connected to the shaft (2) of the turbine. In the leading case (8) and possibly in the supporting case (3) which closes the oil chamber (9) there are labyrinths (10, 11) linking the oil chamber (9) to the inside space of the rotating oil tank (6). In the case of the back shaft impact (2) of the turbine the oil is suppressed from the oil chamber (9) by labyrinths (10, 11) with a narrow cross section to the inside space of the oil tank (6) resulting in the damping of the shock.IMAGE
