The invention concerns the catalytic systems which contain the base metal salts of aliphatic monocarbon acids and a compound containing a hydroxyl-group as a solvent for trimerization of the isocyanuric group. The invention allows the production of foam polyisocyanurates, which, when placed in soil or water, will be exposed to biological degradation. This is useful in solving many ecological problems related to the expanded use of polymeric materials.This issue can be solved if the following method is applied - production of biologically destructible foam polyisocyanurates by the mutual reaction of polyisocyanurates and the catalytic system of trimerization, which contains the compound chosen from the group that contains monoglycerides with the following relation of components (in percent of mass):the base metal salts of aliphatic monocarbon acids - 5 to 45;group of compounds that contain glycerides of aliphatic acids - 55 to 95.
