A device for transmitting a translatory motion to movable elements on straight and curved trajectories, utilising a linear induction motor, comprises a guide element 10 of ferromagnetic material in the shape of a plate, presenting at least one flat surface, which extends in space by a predetermined straight and curved trajectory configuration. A cart 2 can move linearly with regard to the guide element, in parallel with its flat surface, and it is coupled to it by means of V-grooved wheels 5 which partially engage with the rounded edges 9 of the guide element 10. The guide element constitutes the armature of a linear electrical induction motor, whose inductor assembly 13, 14 is mounted on the cart 2 and is situated alongside a conductive band 12, preferably of copper, secured to the guide element along the entire usable length of trajectory. The device comes with means of control of the electric power supply to the inductor assembly 13, 14, which can be mounted on the cart 2. IMAGE
