TWENTY-FOUR HOUR TIMEPIECE WITH CALENDAR AND MOVEMENT THEREFOR

In order to eliminate difficulty in seeing a calendar caused by the overlap of hands of a watch with a calendar window (8), hour numerals of 1 to 24 are marked on the dial of a twenty-four hour watch (1) and the calendar window (8) is positioned below and near the numeral of 24. Through the window (8) the day of the month and the day of the week are shown on upper and lower sides, respectively. Accordingly, in order to improve the visibility, the hour hand (26) has a length which extends near the hour numeral unlike conventional watches. Also, the minute hand (22) is as thin as possible in order to further improve the visibility of the calendar when it overlaps with the calendar window (8).
