The display has a dial (3) provided with an opening, which permits a part of a representation of a starry sky to be visible. The dial is attached on a sky disk that is arranged below the dial and driven with a full revolution per star day. The dial has an hour arrangement (5) of twenty-four hours concentric to the disk and a transparent ring zone (8) permitting an arrangement of a yearly calendar to be visible. The dial has an hour hand, which is concentric to the disk and driven with a full revolution in twenty-four hours in the same direction as the disk.
