The tyrosine phenollyase was prepared from tyrosine phenollyase gene of Citrobacter freundi, a recombinant plasmid containing the gene and a transformed E. coli by the recombinant plasmid. The recombinant plasmid(fomula I) was obtained by culturing Citrobacter freundi KCTC2006, extracting chromosome DNA, purifying, cutting the DNA by a restriction enzyme such as PstI, Sau3AI, SspI, etc., followed by a linkage of ligase.
