The invention relates to a method for making rice wine by using arrowroots. The method comprises the steps of: mixing steamed rice and Nuruk; incubating the mixture for 14-16 hr, followed by straining; adding yeast mash, water boiled with arrowroots, starch syrup, sugar, pine needle sprouts wrapped in a cloth and steamed rice into the strained water; leaving it at a temperature of 30 deg. C for 3-4 days.
