The delay detection device of the present invention which detects a phase difference from a phase modulated signal includes two samplers (1.2) and a delay component by time-division multiplexing the data from the sampler so that a part of the cosine component of the phase difference of the modulated signal is partially and remaining. It consists of a delay detection operation part 3 which outputs the alternating data sequence, the data sequence which a part and the remaining part of the sine component of the said phase difference alternate, and two post-detection filters 4.5. The two post-detection filters 4.5 each have a linear interpolation filter 35 that calculates a weighted moving average of 1: 2: 1 for three consecutively input data, and an integral value of k consecutively input data. It is made by series connection of the integrating filter 36 which calculates.
