The present invention relates to an epoxy resin solution having excellent electrodeposition coating property and weldability, and a method for manufacturing a resin coated plated steel sheet using the same. A water-soluble epoxy resin excellent in electrodeposition coating property and weldability at the time of film treatment by adding a metal solution treated by oxidization can be prepared, and there is also provided a method of treating a chromate-treated electrogalvanized steel sheet.
