How to improve the cutting resistance and scuff resistance of a golf ball with an ionomer cover

Game balls and their manufacturing methods are announced. The game ball has an ionomer cover containing a combination of ionomer crosslinking and covalent crosslinking. This game ball cover does not undergo covalent cross-linking, but is superior in at least one of the cut resistance and scuffing properties to the same conventional cover in other compositions. The game ball cover of the present invention is particularly useful for improving the durability of a golf ball with a sharpened grooved club.
