FIELD: air-metal storage batteries and fuel elements. SUBSTANCE: gas-diffusion electrode has hydrophobic layer of carbon-fabric material impregnated with water-repelling agent and having total porosity of 45-80%, catalytic layer composed of catalyst and water-repelling agent covered with hydrophobic layer of nonmetal matrix having porosity of 60-80%. Used as catalyst in catalytic layer are noble metals of group containing silver, platinum, palladium with dopes of group containing magnesium, indium, cadmium, tin, lead in the following proportion of components, mass percent: noble metals, 30-99; dopes, 1-70; water-repelling agent content in hydrophobic layer is 50-90% and in catalytic layer, 10-50%.
