METHOD FOR SURGICALLY TREATING HEPATIC ECHINOCOCCOSIS

FIELD: medicine; surgery. SUBSTANCE: first contents of parasitic cyst is removed and, if it proves to be impossible to completely eliminate residual cyst cavity, latter is subjected to drainage by organizing through- going transphepatic drainage, intracavitary portion of which has lateral openings. During postoperative period, as residual cavity is subjected to lavage, proposed proprietary hepatic burette is inserted under X-ray control into cavity through drainage lumen and lateral openings, followed by mechanically cleaning residual cavity walls, bulges and turns until washing solution becomes stably transparent. EFFECT: method makes it possible to nearly completely eliminate residual parasite germs, thereby minimizing occurrence rate of disease recidives. 2 dwg
