STEAM-REHEAT REACTOR

FIELD: nuclear power engineering. SUBSTANCE: steam-reheat reactor has core separated from vessel by shell with central tube passed through core that accommodates steam-reheat fuel elements. Tube connects dry steam cavity with reheat-steam cavity located in bottom part and formed by inner surface of vessel spherical bottom and partition separated from water cavity located above it. Annular cavity formed between vessel and shell accommodates vertical tubes whose ends are secured in ring belts arranged at top and bottom ends of shell. Feedwater supply connection is placed in bottom part of reactor vessel above partition. EFFECT: improved design. 9 cl, 5 dwg
