Reactor cell (1) for carrying out pyrolysis, comprises a reactor cell base (2), a reactor cell wall (3) and a reactor cell cover (4), which detachably connected with the reactor cell wall in a form-locking manner. The reactor cell cover comprises at least one first locking device for gas-tight closure of the reactor cell. A reactor cell valve (6), which is loaded by a vertical downward force, is provided perforatingly in the reactor cell base. The vertical force-loaded reactor cell valve is provided for introducing gaseous reaction products resulting during pyrolysis. Independent claims are also included for: (1) a reactor for carrying out pyrolysis comprising at least one reactor cell and a thermal oven, where (a) the thermal oven comprises a thermal oven base, a thermal oven wall, a thermal oven cover, which is detachably connected to the thermal oven wall in a form-fitting manner, and at least one heating element, (b) the thermal oven cover comprises at least one second locking device for closure of the thermal oven, (c) the reactor cell is installed into the thermal oven, (d) a thermal oven valve, which is loaded by a vertically acting upward force, is provided perforatingly at a surface of the thermal oven base for removing the gaseous reaction products produced during the pyrolysis, and (e) the vertical force-loaded thermal oven valve interacts with the reactor cell valve in the form of valve coupling after insertion of the reactor cell; and (2) a system for carrying out pyrolysis comprising the reactor, a cooler for cooling the gaseous reaction products, a condenser for condensing the pyrolysis oil, a gas storage for storing the pyrolysis gas and a control unit for controlling and regulating at least one heating element, where the control unit is connected with at least one temperature sensor for determining the pyrolysis temperature.
