METHOD OF TREATING RETRO AND MICROGNATHIA COMPLICATED WITH CLEFT PALATE AND CLEFT OF ALVEOLAR PROCESS

FIELD: osteoreconstructive surgery. SUBSTANCE: method includes fixation of upper jaw fragments to each other, osteotomy of upper jaw assembly, displacing it forwards and fixation of osteotomy-subjected assembly in the region of cheekbone-alveolar crest, and additional retention of fragment between bulges of upper jaw and winglike shoots of chief bone. Novelty consists in that fixation of upper jaw fragments to each other and osteotomy-subjected assembly is performed with the aid of titanium miniplates, and retention of fragment is effected by carbon ceramics implant. EFFECT: shortened treatment and patient's rehabilitation periods, eliminated complications, and reduced recurrence of disease.
