FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: device has housing 1 in which solid of revolution 2 is installed in bearings 3. Solid of revolution 2 is made in form of toothed wheel. Cylindrical slider 4 is also installed in housing 1. Axis of rotation of toothed wheel 2 coincides with longitudinal axis of slider 4. Central through hole 5 made in toothed wheel 2 serves to accommodate slider 4. Closed screw groove 6 is made on outer side surface of slider 4. To prevent turning over of slider 4 longitudinal grooves 7 are made on its outer side surface and slots 8 corresponding to longitudinal grooves 7 are made in housing 1. Balls 9 placed in slots 8 engage at one side with longitudinal grooves 7 and at other side, with slots 8. Slider 4 is mechanically coupled with toothed wheel 2 by means of carrier designed for engagement through one side with wheel 2 and through other side, with closed screw groove 6. Slider 4 consists of two bushings whose adjacent end face surfaces are shaped to form closed screw groove 6. Rolling contact bearings are arranged in bushings in which shaft is installed to connect bushings into common part - slider 4. Rolling contact bearings are held in place by means of split rings. Shaft connects bushings into common part by means of threaded nuts. Through slot is made on shaft. Carrier is made in form of rod passing across central hole 5 through closed screw groove 6 and through slot of shaft. Ends of carrier are rigidly fitted in hub of wheel 2. Bushings with outer spherical-shape surface are installed on carrier on antifriction bearing. Bushings engage with side surface of closed screw groove 6 through this spherical surface. EFFECT: reduced bending moment acting on points of attachment of carrier eliminated influence of this moment onto ball support. 3 cl, 3 dwg
