The actuator system for an electrical switch is based on two coupled levers one of which [2] is a switching element and a second lever [3] that acts as a clamping element. Both levers are mounted at one end on the drive axis. The arrangement provides three stable rotary positions for the switch. The clamping lever is coupled by a spring [4] to a fixed point on the housing while a second spring [5] couples the parts together.The ends of the levers selectively engage latching links [7,8,9].
