Minimicroscope for individual female conception capability testing

The minimicroscope consists of two basic units. One unit (2) carries the eyepiece (3) with an ocular positioner (12), lens (13), bowl-shaped specimen holder (4) and transparent object tray (10). The other unit (5) holds batteries (16) which activate a light diode (7) when the second pole of the battery is engaged by pressure on the touch-point (14). The units are held at either end of a lipstick-style casing (8,17). Focussing is achieved by turning the eyepiece and the specimen holder relative to one another. The microscope works by detecting the fern-like crystals which are formed by oestrogen in a woman's spit before ovulation.
