摘要

Silicic acid-containing catalyst support with high porosity(I), containing supporting particles of acid-activated clay minerals (A) bonded with finely divided silicic acid with a particle size of less than 30 microns (B). Also claimed is (i) a process for the production of (I) by mixing (A) with (B) and calcining the mixture, and (ii) a catalyst containing support (I) impregnated with an acid, preferably phosphoric acid.
