The motor is assembled from a number of modules inserted in the drum sleeve (1), allowing use of two drive modules (2) which are effective in the same direction, positioned coaxial to one another. One of the drive modules is used to provide a stand-by facility, switched into operation for allowing continuous running of the machine upon failure of the first drive module.
