A method, for reducing or preventing the effects of electrosmog or interfering a.c. fields from electrical installations, appliances and appts. on humans or animals esp. at locations where they stand, sit or lie or where they spend long periods e.g. at work, entails decoupling the alternating voltage, induced by the alternating space field, from the body by an earth sheet condenser. I.e. an extensive earth sheet with non-conducting layer between sheet and body skin is placed close to the body. Also claimed to implement the method is an appts. including the earth sheet which connects to the earth.
