The safety set comprises a support frame suspended in a locking plate mounting (18) installed on each railway wagon. The frame has a chargeable battery force or form detachably locked to it and also electrically connected to it on one side. An indicating light (1) and warning bell (2) are similarly mounted on the frame. On the other side an indicating flag (10) is provided on a fluorescent rod or handle (11) which is retained in a recess (8).
