The clamp jaws accommodate between them the bone areas which are adjacent to the cut gap (20) and they are joined to one another by a link which is positionable in the cut gap or in a trepanation hole (14-16). They are adjustable from a spaced apart position into a position where they clamp the bone areas located between them. The clamp jaws can be fed through the trepanation hole and the link that joins them together may be a deformable rib, formed so that rib and jaws are an one-piece, clamp type bent stamped part. A projecting holding component may be arranged on at least one of the facing insides of the jaws.
