Camera optical focusing verification system on automatic inspection unit - uses point light source to illuminate two focusing lenses so as to give two dimensional view of focusing clarity

The verification method is deigned for inspection of an optical focusing unit having two separated lenses, one of which is convergent and the other divergent. The focal range of the convergent lens is practically overlapping with the focal point of the divergent lens. A diffuse screen is illuminated by a point source, the beam from this source passed through the convergent lens then the divergent lens. The source is situated between the convergent lens and its focal point so as to form on the screen a two dimensional view of the local definition of the focusing system. The position of the source is moved so as to practically illuminate the whole of the divergent lens.
