The wall has LED-light sources (7) that are arranged on plate-like supports in an area of a front side of longitudinally extendable light chambers. Each light chamber forms translucent wall units (3) with a reflective structured inner surface. The light sources are arranged with focusing lenses that optically converge on a divergence angle of maximally 20 degrees in such a manner that light radiated in a longitudinal direction of each light chamber partially reflects at inner surfaces of the wall units, and is partially visible over its length by the wall units.
