New Heliconia caribea cultivar capable of industrial reproduction in vitro

The new distinct Heliconia cultivar, which appeared spontaneously, is capable of industrial plant reproduction in vitro. In the first stage of the flowering, ten days, it presents an inflorescence characterised by being almost entirely green. Then it becomes tinted in a lightly orange yellow mixed with pink. In full flower, after 20 days, the plant has a translucent inflorescence characterised by a yellow, orange pink. The plant stems are constituted by rhizomes. The top parts are formed by tufts of foliar sheaths. There are 6 to 8 leaves per stem giving the plant a height of about 3 to 4 metres.
