PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To quickly escape or rescue a parson from between an inter panel and a seat cushion at the time of a head-on collision, by providing a seat slide adjusting device to release the locked condition of the seat cushion by a lock releasing device via a seat slide adjusting device by the deformation of the inter panel at the time of a head-on collision. ;SOLUTION: A housing 47 is fitted to the rear end part of a supporting stay 41 provided on the bottom part of a seat cushion 7. When an inner panel 1 is deformed by a head-on collision to move a guide beam rearward, a stopper 51, for retaining a supporting stay 41 to regulate the operation of a lock releasing spring 49, is pulled by a wire 53 to detach a malfunction preventive member to make the stopper 51 fall from the supporting stay 41, and the spring 49 is extended to move the housing 47 together with the supporting stay 41 rearward. Then the upper side 47a of the housing 47 pulls up a lever operating beat 45 to rotate a lever 13 to disengage a locking claw 11 engaged with a lock hole 3, thereby releasing locking.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1998,JPO
