PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To smoothly and steadily feed or wind a transfer tape in a delivery reel and a winding reel in a coating applicator. ;SOLUTION: This feeding and winding mechanism comprises an elastic frictional unit 11 such as a rubber ring provided at one outer circumference of clutches 9, 10 integral with a delivery reel 5 and a winding reel 6. In this case, surfaces of the clutches 9, 10 are cooperated and rotatably brought into close contact with one another to feed or wind a transfer tape 4. Thus, the rotary force of the delivery reel side is effectively transmitted to the winding reel side to steadily deliver or wind the tape by absorbing an impact by the frictional unit.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1998,JPO
