PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the feed for algophagous snails, such as abalones and top shells, which facilitates the assurance of the feed, allows the stable culture of the snails and has high practicability by incorporating tea leaves, etc., into the feed. SOLUTION: This feed contains the tea leaves and/or tea grounds contg. complex lipid, such as the digalactosyldiacylglycerol expressed by the formula (R', R" are acyl). The algophagous snails are recommended to be cultivated by dosing such feed thereto. Plant raw materials, such as soybean meal, wheat flour and starch and tacky adhesives, such as gelatinized starch and carboxymethyl cellulose, are preferably compounded with the feed.
