PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the response of ventilation control, and to remove the generation of a blow-by by learning the relationship of a ventilated state and the operation state of a ventilator from VI an CO information measured in a tunnel and the air volume of ventilation operation and controlling the air volume of operation. ;SOLUTION: The tunnel ventilation controller consists of tunnel facilities measuring the status of contamination in a shaft concentrated-exhaust type road tunnel and ventilating the inside of the road tunnel and a ventilation controller body executing ventilation control. The tunnel facilities are composed of a VI meters 12a... measuring a VI value as the transparency of the shaft concentrated-exhaust type tunnel, CO meters 14a..., traffic-volume measuring instruments 17a, 17b and a shaft exhauster 18. Result information 21 is taken into the ventilation controller body, and stored in a time series manner, and an optimum weight coefficient is learnt in the ventilation controller body. A blow-by decision control means 29 is mounted, result information related to air velocity in the tunnel is monitored, the reverse phenomenon of continuous air velocity is decided as a blow-by, and an air-velocity target value is elevated. When the frequency of reversal is reduced, an air-velocity target value is lowered, and ventilation operation corresponding to an optimum air-velocity target value is conducted.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1998,JPO
