SUBMARINE PROSPECTING OBSERVATORY EQUIPMENT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make possible respected use of a buoy with capsule for accumulating an observatory data mounted in an equipment main unit set up in the sea bottom, also so that a battery mounted in the equipment main unit in the sea bottom can be easily charged from on the sea, relating to a submarine prospecting observatory equipment. ;SOLUTION: A data observed by a sensor 2 mounted on an equipment main unit 1 in the sea bottom is accumulated in a capsule 3 held to a buoy 4, when this data is transmitted, delivery action of a cable 5 is performed with a winch 6 by a controller 7, and transmission is performed to a ground station from an antenna 9 of the buoy 4 floated on the sea surface. In the case of charging a battery 8 feeding power to the winch 6 and the sensor 2, from a charger device 11 on the sea, the battery is charged through a terminal 10 of the buoy 4 and a power line in the cable 5.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1998,JPO
