PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the generation of a camber by analysing using a camber sensor and a torque sensor and controlling so as to dissolve the difference of the upper and lower temperature in a rolling stock. ;SOLUTION: A sheet bar 1 left a heating furnace 3 is guided to the upper and lower work rolls 2 of the roughing mill in a continuous hot rolling mill and rolled. In this case, the coil of the quantity controlled with an oil ejection controller 8 is ejected form an oil ejecting device 6. The camber of the rolled stock is detected with the camber sensor 4 and the data are sent to a process computer 7. Also, the torque sensor 10 is provided in the spindle 13 driving the respective upper and lower rolls 2, the curvature of the camber and the torque distributional rate at the time of rolling are actually measured with these. The measured data are also sent to the process computer 7. On the other hand, the contact length and the average plate thickness in the rolling operation are provided from a rolling instruction.
