PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a user possible to judge the importance of retrieved data at a plank with out confirming a detailed item or by letters, by registering the attribute of data along with the data when the data are registered in a database, and displaying the data in the form according to the attribute when the data are displayed. SOLUTION: The user enters registering data by a keyboard 20 while viewing a data registration picture. At this time, an importance of the data is entered in the field of the importance of an item name (attribute) in the data registration picture. Then, the user inputs retrieving data item with the keyboard 20 while viewing a data retrieval picture. If retrieving data item is inputted, the field of the importance of the retrieved data is checked and main items of the retrieved data are displayed on a color CRT 18. Thus, the data in which the importance being attribute is larger is emphatically displayed. Thus, the attribute of data can be judged at a glance.
