A system and a method for registering an electronic payment/settlement service of a customer by using giro reception information, a server for constructing a customer giro reception information database, the server for registering the service with the database, and a recording medium thereof are provided to remove inconvenience of registering electronic giro/public charge bills one by one in an EBPP(Electronic Bill Presentation and Payment) application process. An information extractor(915) collects giro reception information and payment tool information of the customer from a giro payment device, an Internet banking-based giro payment system, and a teller terminal. An information storing part(925) links/stores the giro reception information and the payment tool information of the customer to a storage medium(935). An electronic payment/settlement service register automatically registers at least one of giro billing agency information and giro payment tool information checked by the giro reception information extracted from the storage medium, and customer information checked by the payment tool information or the giro reception information extracted from the storage medium.
