VECTOR FOR TRANSDUCING EXTRANEOUS GENE TO INSECT CELL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a new vector for transducing an extraneous gene into an insect cell by connecting a marker gene having a specific recognition part of FLP at both ends and a reporter gene to the downstream of a promoter capable of functioning in an insect cell. ;SOLUTION: This vector for transducing an extraneous gene to insect cell contains a DNA fragment obtained by a marker gene having FRT (Flp Recombination Target) region at both ends and a reporter gene to the downstream of a promoter capable of functioning by an insect cell and utilizable as a permanent expression system of a desired and useful protein and enables wide utilization of medicine field. The vector is obtained by cleaving a neomycin resistant cassette held between base sequences coding FRT with a restriction enzyme from plasmid vector pNEO β GAL and inserting it into a plasmid containing HSP70 promoter derived from Drosophila.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1998,JPO
