METHOD FOR DESALTING CEMENT KILN EXHAUST GAS DUST

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable efficient washing with a small amount of water by a method in which water used in the first dust washing stage is filtered to recover salts, new water is used in the final dust washing stage, and the filtrate is used recyclingly in sequence as washing water in the previous stage. ;SOLUTION: Dust which is extracted with exhaust gas from a cement kiln, after being washed primarily with washing water of filtrate circulated from a filter 4 in a washing tank 1, is sent to a filter 2 with washing water to be separated from the filtrate. The recovered filtrate is discharged or discarded in the form of a solid after prescribed treatment. Next, the dust after primary washing is sent to the second washing tank 3, after being washed secondarily with new water in the tank 3, sent to the second filter 4 with washing water, and separated from the filtrate. The washed dust obtained by the filter 4 is returned to the kiln to be reused as part of a cement raw material. The filtrate obtained by the second filter 4 is circulated into the washing tank 1 to be used as primary washing water for dust.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1998,JPO
