PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an unleaded gasoline for a direct cylinder injection type gasoline engine, having a specific temperature or below of running temperature, capable of reducing the amount of discharged environmental pollutants and further excellent in durability of an engine. ;SOLUTION: This unleaded gasoline for a direct cylinder injection type gasoline engine has 160°C running temperature of 90vol.% and a content of a ≥9C hydrocarbon compound of 0-10vol.% based on the total volume of the unleaded gasoline without substantially containing an alkyllead compound such as tetraethyllead. The gasoline is excellent in abrasion resistance and durability of the engine without deteriorating an engine oil and without producing sludges.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1998,JPO
