PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a capillary tube holder which allows a blood specimen sampling person to sample the blood specimen without direct contact with a capillary tube or blood. SOLUTION: A transparent capillary tube 4 is held in a cassette type container 2 during the sampling and the inspection of blood. The cassette 2 protects the capillary tube 4 from being damaged. The cassette also allows the sticking of information entry label for a patient and the inspection of a blood specimen, and allows a technician to sample and inspect the blood specimen without directly contacting the capillary tube or blood. When the blood specimen is sampled into the capillary tube 4, the cassette can be used for the implementing of a gravity type counting of blood cells.
