SQUEAKING SAND-CONTAINING PORCELAIN

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a porcelain by industrially using squeaking sand in which no especially useful utilization method has not been developed except utilizing a sound producing phenomena. ;SOLUTION: First, a green body material as a parent material for forming a porcelain is premixed with a squeaking sand, then the green body material is molded into a fixed shape and backed at a high temperature to produce a sand-containing porcelain. Tableware is produced in such a way that the squeaking sand-containing porcelain thus produced has to a face, which is brought into contact with at least beverage, food, etc., in a bisque state. Otherwise, ringing sand is stuck to the surface of a green body material, which is baked or a green body material is coated with a glaze containing squeaking sand and finished.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1998,JPO
