PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject composition capable of preventing occurrence of crack in thick film and crystallization phenomenon and useful for insulation films, resists, etc., by compounding amorphous calixarenes with crystalline calixarenes at a specific ratio. ;SOLUTION: This composition comprises (A) 1-80wt.%, preferably 3-20wt.% amorphous calixarenes represented by formula I, e.g. an acetylated material of methylcalix[6]arena and (B) crystalline calixarenes represented by formula II (Me is methyl; t-Bu is tertiary butyl), e.g. 1,3-dimethoxy 4-t-butylcalix[4]arene.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1998,JPO
